The project defines a new image of the city of Turin for 2007, characterized by a new colour, sulphur yellow. Inspired by the Look of the City of Olympic Turin, the project has created a series of interconnected episodes of great communicative power, through installations placed in the university district and the cultural areas of the city. The installations are characterized by the large metal elements with the constructive rigour typical of industrial semi-finished products, which are combined with the freer forms of the “Follies”: active structures made of light, movements and dynamic messages, featuring images that change between day and night. The graphic design centres on the elaboration of illustrations studied ad hoc, “icons” of the university sports genres, and the use of a contemporary lettering.
