The 12000 sq.ft. expansive office has been designed for a leading developer in Bengaluru. Given that the office was situated in a premium location and building in Bengaluru, It has been transformed into the ultimate working destination with a deft combination of premium materials, great accessories and plush yet practical furniture. Keeping the aesthetics of combination and contrast in mind, the designing started with the large, curved structural wall that one encounters at the entrance. The wall leads the visitors to the reception desk, which is made of opera fantasy stone with traces of red. Leading off the waiting area are five meeting rooms with a very ethnic south Indian touch. Local artisans were roped in to custom build fine furniture with the sofas of south Indian architecture. The director’s cabin exudes a plush, luxurious feel. The eye-catching desk is made of oiled walnut wood and onyx. A contemporary chandelier that was customized specially for the room has highlighted the conference room. Niches are to be found throughout the office, each with a specific purpose; they are functional elements that have been used as a part of the lighting scheme.
