The inspiration behind the project of the UIA info-point come from noise barrier and its uses, not only as answer to the noise city pollution, but also as a way to introduce in our cities a sort of vertical garden, trough the use of green noise barrier. Structure is made of wooden “A” elements connected with lamellar wooden beams; filled inside with suitable infill material. This allow to reach a high comfort level inside the building, because of its exceptional noise absorption and heating insulation; while outside the building appears as a vertical garden with many landscaping solutions. Inside all the opaque surface are coating with wood panels, while the transparent surface are made with laminated self-cleaning glass, in order to give a warm atmosphere and a luminous view of the site. All the element are recyclable and reusable, and thanks to its lightweight also of quick and easy installation, in order to re-assemble the building anywhere. At ground level there are: reception, press area, exhibition area, storage, toilette, UIA radio and internet point; at first level there is the outdoor lounge area where people can relax in a smart place. The budget needed will not exceed the amount of 120.000 €.
