The former OGR (1884) were the first industrial plants for the construction and maintenance of locomotives and rolling stocks of the railways of the Kingdom of Italy. Some teaching spaces for students of Architecture and Engineering have been settled within five production buildings located along Via Boggio, since 1994. The restructuring, which resulted in the creation of autonomous systems, car parks and external public spaces, have been made in a very short time, allowing the students to enter as the buildings were made available to the Politecnico.
