Geo pillows are unique, innovative and playful contributors to the home décor world.
Their becoming process was a natural sequence to the creation of their special 3D fabric.
The polygonal textile was born as part of Barr's final project in her textile design studies (B. design, "Shenkar" college).
Followed by a long research about origami and how it can be transformed into fabrics, the technique revealed itself by accident, actually.
The inspiration emerged from researching the relation between geometrics and organics while observing flowers and different structures in nature, painting them and folding diverse shapes. I explored the relations between printed material itself and the image it creates.
This evolved to Geo's innovative textile manufacture process, in which the printed image defines the fabric's dropping and folding. One can create endless shapes with playful Geo, or just throw it nonchalantly on the sofa and see what shape occurred.
Geo products can be purchased n selected boutiques around Israel, Europe & North America, or through Mikabarr studio.
