Studio NL is a space that expresses an organized complexity, a controlled chaos. Heterogeneous elements- that follow the same rules- are composed in order to create a “controlled chaos”. Taking advantage of the structural and formalistic qualities of the plasterboard, a “white net” unfolds into a grey background. The “white lines” are formed as to serve the different functions of the interior (library, lighting, cd storage, shelving, desk e.t.c.). There was the intention to perceive this project through a holistic philosophy and not as endless fragments. The defragmentation and specialization became an object of the technical analysis of the details. All the different functions of the interior (library, lighting, cd storage, shelving, desk,…) are contained into the "white lines". This “white net” unfolds into a neutral grey background.
