Is style more important than function? Litebox is design without shape. It’s not functionalism – in such case the shape would make easier and expressive the function – rather an act of non-design. The function of Litebox self-define the object; the designer is just called to supervise this definition. It’s an act against the invasive culture of image – unreal, styled and photoshop treated – bringing back the focus on the real. Litebox is a designed anonymous object.

Wall/ceiling-mounted or suspension fixtures for fluorescent lamps. Anodized aluminium body, no visible screws and a specially treated lexan diffuser which allows for a totally uniform effect on the surface. Available in the direct/indirect and direct light only versions. Electronic, dimmable and emergency power supplies guarantee maximum functional flexibility.
