Indoor city is an activity center inspired by the street culture. It is an informal public space that will allow people to do activities that are normally done outside. Like skateboarding, graffiti, parkour, dance, music, street / contemporary performance. Space will also provide not only rooms for private practices but as well psychologist therapy, that will help to deal with everyday problems. Indoor city is about inserting space inside of the space. It is about designing outside inside of the building and creating absolutely new world that is surrounded by the derelict factory walls. All interior becomes exterior with different size spaces inside of it. New insertion was added not touching the existing building. All original building features were left to preserve buildings' history. It is a multipurpose area which is designed as flexible as possible to suit all possible needs. Studios are designed in a different way for each activity, but at the same time are flexible. Practice rooms will provide special dance floor, lighting system, recording studio, toxic free ventilation system. All spaces are separated with the flexible acoustic walls, that if necessary studio size could be increased or decreased. External studio walls are transparent to create connection between the each studio and the public space. The design has a particular user group. It is for people who are part of the street culture or who feels like. The main user target is youth and young adults. The user has very strong identity in the way they dress, behaves. As every user group this one has special needs too. Street culture is not about activities is about the life style.
