Invisible wall

The start of site gallery to us has a sudden. At present, it is the place that the part of building site which multi-purpose building of certain company is given and by replacing the part of physical boundary of temporary wall on the field, the start to the boundary which leads actual state of inside/outside to new experience through observation. The field is located on the site only 1.5m away from retaining of earth because of restricted conditions which special spatiality can have, the range of site digging, the location of tower crane which will be installed afterward, and loading place of materials, and becomes to have inevitability to be implemented in structural design considering the safety of existing earth-retaining facilities. Because the outdoor is stick with boundary line of land, the responsibility of constructing to narrow place only be increased, and the limitation of height under 3 stories which is given in legal use is also another restricted conditions. Under these actual circumstances which are differently started from the condition occurring at vacant building site of urban core, we become to need alternative space which can connect new structural interpretation with inside/outside of the field. Therefore, we decided to regard this alternative space carefully as one temporal & spatial event which generation and extinction will be occurred on temporality of 3 years different from existing facilities, that is, the time of completing this building. Finally, the thing that making to confer from the early of its occurring to the expected situations afterward is one contest process which is made rarely by the communication with architect starting from the will of client. The purpose and the intention of exhibiting at other model house or housing exhibition hall are experiencing only company promotion and the unit of constructing dwelling space. It will be unreasonable to expect the suddenbecause it has the value of only the building which will be operated as restricted use. We suggest several architectural equipments which will have relations with this multi-purpose building. The sequence for visual experience and the process of whole constructing procedure should be the core, and this will be constructed with repetitive pattern such as stairway, viewing deck, indoor lamp, viewing deck, and stairway. This pattern is also an apparatus for interior/exterior communication which should remove the physical boundary. The structure which is decided by the construction of sequence supports every slab with one wall like floating while it removes the whole of excessive steel framed pole, and the two masses which are different in size and are for viewing building site are installed to exterior wall. Extending this post-structure concept is an attitude to the half-gravity and is for experiencing more extreme space. Installing method of every exhibitions and variable spatial concept are the intention not to define specific use from early stage, and the organization of each story becomes to have similar characteristic with gallery. The detail to emphasize transparency of glass wall for the free of structure is required, and oblique lines which define the skin become to decide the shape of furniture or to have the shape of inclined wall/ceiling. The skin is the temporary wall which will become only the skin, and its used material is pure steel plate and is expected to reflect the change of times with containing physical property itself not by processing separately. After 3 years, it is clear that after completing the function and purpose of this building, it will be not existed any more, but it is foreseen that it may be left as new alternative equipment through another transferring. As if nothings have been happened for a long time……
