This residential district is intended for young scientists and their families. The area is situated along the embankment of the Volga River, which houses are focused. It is built up with two types of the houses, one of which - the multi-sectional houses, and another – the individual development of architects for this project. It represents two rectangular sections, shifted relatively to each other around the staircase and elevator unit with a difference in height between them in a half of floor. This type of house architects call «binomial», which not only reflects the typology of the house itself, but also answers the specifics of the territory, which part is the area, planned for IT – science and technology park. It is possible not only to build such «binomials» separately, but also to make of them long «formulas». The site is divided into two blocks. In each of them there is a large courtyard perimeter, fenced off by the continuous line of houses, which protect it from the roadway. There are separate «binomials» along the embankment; they don't block a view of the river from courts and other buildings of these districts.
