San Siro Sky Lounge

In 2013 the project of the new sky lounge of San Siro stadium designed by Ragazzi and Partners received the renowned 'Golden A Design Award'.
The project was the first step of the huge renovation program which A.C. Milan and F.C. Internazionale carried out together with the Municipality of Milan with the aim to transform San Siro stadium in a modern and multifunctional facility able to host international events.
Following the success of the skybox project, Ragazzi and Partners studio developed the idea to create a new concept of hospitality on top of the main grandstand of San Siro stadium.
Sky Lounges were designed to enlarge the hospitality area for sponsors and spectators during the match-day offering new attractive areas in the stadium to be used for events during the week.
The layout is flexible and the rooms can be used separately or united thanks to an integrated door system in order to respond to the special needs of the clients thus the Sky Lounges offer spaces at different sizes.
Each Sky Lounge is equipped with a wardrobe, catering area, storage room, and toilets and has central heating and air conditioning to enjoy the match from inside without losing contact with the match thanks to the big glass wall overlooking the pitch. Led screens allow watching replays at any time. Outside the lounges, spectators can relax on very comfortable and ergonomic armchairs, designed by Francesco Ragazzi for Linosonego, with the personal tv screen.
