Compact residence with main house and visitor annex organized on top of each other with orientation shift for increased privacy while maintaning ocean views for every room in the building. Building can be completely opened on all sides through sliding glass fronts to create interior spaces with outdoor qualities. All rooms have natural light and ventilation: Warm air rising up the terrain cools off over pool and waterfall before entering the building from cooler side underneath. Timber shutters can be lowered in front of glass fronts for privacy and to protect from storm assaults. Water is harvested from the roof through "green shafts" across the buildings, which allow natural light to penetrate deep into the lower level and natural vegetation to grow through the buildings. 3 distinctively different exterior spaces: a sundeck with view at front, a shaded back patio with fire pit, a shaded lounge area under the house by the pool. Exterior areas connect underneath the house and the main building briges between terrain and annex. Construction materials: Concrete, local timber construction, sheet metal roofing
