Snow Pallet III | Toshihiko Shibuya Studio

The exhibition Snow Pallet 3 by Toshihiko Shibuya will be held at the front garden in the Yuki Sekiguchi Museum of Art which is located next to Sapporo Art Park. The first exhibition of this series "Snow Pallet" was held in the Moerenuma Park in 2011. The second one, "Snow PalletⅡ" was held in the garden of Sapporo Art Park from Dec 2011 to Mar 2012. For the first series, the new landscape - showing the art installation under snowfall and strong wind with the scenery of Mt. Moere, in the park. In contrast, we could see humorous shapes of the snow in the second exhibition place, because these was no wind in the garden of Sapporo Art Park. Then the third series this time, it installed the objects to nestle close to pine trees and white birches to create a coexistence image. The disc style was placed with the frame style object in the same space in the first time. That will be a new harmonious space of the collaboration between 2 types of the objects and snowfall on trees. Of course the fluorescent colors at the bottom of the objects will shine in the sunny days. But in a cloudy day or snowy day, it would look more beautiful. The season of the "snow pallet" will be coming again soon.
