Used as a year-round family retreat for the owners and their children and grandchildren, the house is strikingly modern and yet somehow quite at home on this stretch of rugged coastline. The interior features light-filled living spaces, numerous cosy bedrooms and countless tranquil spots to sit and appreciate the area’s natural beauty. The clean lines and the sharp edges of the architecture done by Danish Arkitema really make this a luxury summer house. Through out the house Dinesen Douglas floorboards have been installed. They are 35 cm wide, 3.5 cm thick and between 4-5 metres long and have been treated with lye and white soap.
