Plexus was one of the first buildings to be constructed in the tourist development of la manzanera. A special partial plan was drawn up for the complex, consisting of family villas, apartment buildings, bar, restaurants and sport facilities, commissioned by an exceptional developer whose business was not based on speculation. Plexus represents an effort at adhering to the nature of the setting to the maximum, following the same building method used in the construction of the stone terraces which defined the agricultural land there, in a highly expression of the application of critical regionalism to the Mediterranean coast.
