Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura designed the façades for this mix-use project including office, housing and retail, in the very heart of Tokyo’s cosmopolitan centre Omotesando district, home to fashion, cosmetics, jewellery and multi-media companies. The 13-storey Aoyama Palacio Tower, also known as "The Gucci Building", houses a large Gucci boutique on the 1st and 2nd floors, high-end fashion brand companies, top beauty institutions, major insurance companies and banks. The building offers impressive views over Tokyo, covering the entire city. Omotesando metro station is directly connected to the building. Its privileged location, right on Omotesando crossing, makes it a popular meeting point. Client: Meiji Life Insurance Company Floor area : 44,000 sqm
