The construction of St. Georges’ Convent was incomplete due to the Lebanese war, that spanned over 30 years. Our mission was to repair the damage done to the building as well as study the new additions and elements that needed to be reshaped. We studied the existing structure as well as the extent of the harm done and provided the best solution for the convent and its continuity. We embedded the spirit followed in the first design and thus obtained, various and traditional elements that gave the facades and spaces a rich sense of identity and belonging.
