Designed by ART & BUILD Architect and developed by AG Real Estate, Cristal Campus is located within the Carré 92 business park, designed and developed by the same team. Strategically located next to a RER station as well as the highway A86, Cristal Campus was handed over on August 1st to THALES and now houses THALES Communication & Security’s headquarters. The ensemble provides close to 90,000 square meters of office space nestled within a vast landscaped park. Planning constraints imposed by the surrounding floodplain are cleverly interpreted, keeping parking naturally ventilated and below grade, and generating a vast aquatic park which links the buildings together to form a 'floating' campus. Some nine buildings house dedicated client reception areas, conferences facilities, showrooms, social premises, a staff canteen, and several office buildings. A purpose built structure meets client requirements for sheltered parking spaces. Cristal campus is designed to maximize access to the disabled, and includes pathways to the garden and internal lifts which are clearly signalled for the visually impaired. There are some 2,240 parking spaces, of which 45 spaces are for the disabled. Some 200 spaces are allocated for two wheeled vehicles. Loading bays, storage facilities and a waste handling centre complete the facilities.
