The site chose for this intervent is in a marginal area of Rome, on the ground of the biggest dump of Europe, that of Malagrotta. The project aim to redevelop this large “desertic” area uses a double concept: the first is the way to think at the life internal and external by the building, with an organization centred on Man: a modern rediscovered of Renaissance concept which divides human life in three spheres: social life, family life and work life. The second concept is a morphogenetic concept inspired to the biology: a kind of germination is the way imaginated for the relation with its ground, and developped with the application of a series of vectors which act on the body to in-form and de-form of volumes and spaces. This concept, drawn by the read of the text of biologist D’Arcy Thompson “On growth and form”, finds the analogies for the architectural modifications. In this way all the elements (over-ground, under-ground, internal and external space, orientation, height and shape of the buildings) are bring under a common rules which allows to the complex to became a n harmonious and vital organism animated both by the people and the plants.
