Thesis project for a Mass Transit Station located near the International Bajio Airport in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. The concept idea was developed from the need to avoid any columns inside, allowing for free-flow movement of the passengers in between two levels. A space frame double-arch solution was developed to span 100 metres, large expanses of glass allow natural light in. Trains arrive underground to connect passengers to/from the airport to a link of 8 industrial cities, reinforcing trade and investment in the area.
