Architectural Alphabet Library No, this is not a big VCR, nor is it a playstation joypad. No, this is not a korean ship, nor any part of one. This is just a simple korean pragmatic house following simple korean rules, which once made korean houses korean. Architecture exists of geometry and limitations. Since the modern spirit, architecture loose it's alphabet. There are no corinthian columns, no gables in the elevation. It was non economical. Only pragmatism existed. Recent architecture is looking for new schemes. Man is thinking in schemes. Since media developed, the schematism of Immanuel Kant is ruling our mind and perception more than ever. Architecture oscillates between schematic and pragmatic. But it's not about circles and squares, but about transcendental schemes and pragmatism and how they relate to each other.
