The Norigem Studio in collaboration with Tridaxis joined together in making Luanda Arena prototype, multipurpose sports pavilion that will host in September 2013 to 41th edition of the World Cup of Hockey. The Project with authored by Berger Architects office, enhances creative ability and a huge example of innovation in Angola. The model was presented recently in Luanda by architect Miguel Berger, and featuring an architectural work of 4 floors and a capacity to receive about 12,000 audience. Represented in the scale 1:200 with the overall size of 1350x750mm, in which the structure of the enclosure was made by the method of 3D printing. According to the opinion of the architect Paulo Simões, one of those responsible for the project “The use of the 3D print technique allowed in this case the performance of the model with great savings of time and the materialization of the warped geometry of surfaces that characterize the external envelope of the building in a manner very faithful. “
