The biggest challenge was to create a cool environment, without ostentation but, at the same time, using high quality and excelent design products. Located in São Paulo, this 250m² apartment was updated and takes sustainable material like the certificated hard wood floor, that also goes on some walls and an ecologic paint based on land and limy. The walls of the hall were replaced by an stainless steel structure with acid-etched glasses inspired on the oriental screens and an agate stone works as a puller. Part of the ceiling had its high reduced in order to get xenon light. On the decoration, italian design furnishing in neutral colors like the sofa with unbleached fabric accompanied by some sketches of the famous landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx on the wall, the couple of olive leathered armchairs and the extendible dining table in a dark hard wood with chair on the same color and a contemporary vase by Jaime Hayon on the back. At the living a suspended shelf with little red niche takes reading books and small pieces from several regions of the world. Beside the fireplace and exotic Swedish design madeup with the same techniques of vessels and above the fireplace a hiperrealist cuban paint. As a central and featured piece Galeazzo has elected a móbile that was painted with an argentine technique named as “Fileteado” and it works as a bar keeping drinks and glasses. Finally, small objects colored in matte gold complement the zen air at the place.
