This mature study was developed for the 9th Ephorate (Agency) for Byzantine Monuments so that a plan for the rehabilitation of the Walls suffering from severe forms of pathology could be approved from the state. About 3 km of the Walls from a total length of about 7 km were surveyed, both their sides running at different heights with triangular and rectangular defensive towers along. From the topographical points a detailed 3d model was produced as well as 2d plans. We also conducted an historic research and a full photographic survey with conclusions about the present deteriorations and suggestions for repair and protection.
