With its 10,000 square meters of façade equipped with Digital Media Facade 2.0 technology, King’s Road Tower in Jeddah is one of the largest video screens in the world. Developed by QUANTUM GLASS™ in partnership with Citiled, DMF 2.0 is large-sized double- or triple-glazing incorporating a matrix of LEDs (more than five million for this particular project). It transforms a building’s envelope into a digital skin on which all manner of content can be displayed for a variety of applications (urban information and communication, street art, outdoor events, advertising, etc.). Moreover, the solution does not obstruct the view of the buildings’ occupants. Saudi Arabia Architect: Abdullah S. Al-Deghaither Client: HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Fahad Alsaud
