"Sorry I’m not a jeweller, Sorry I’m not an architect"
The title is a play on the meaning of what this project is about. I am not an architect but in the rings you will see little houses and I am not trained as a jeweller but they are rings... It is a series that reflects on architectural forms. Many of the rings can be seen as studies for buildings, contemporary structures in a miniature scale, architectural models of houses. Some are houses I have "designed" and others are based on specific houses or architects whose work I admire. I have also expanded this idea to urban locations, making little landscapes in silver encapsulated in resin. Then came other types of explorations of structure: my own vision of a sculptural architecture.
