" CB 32 is an urban event, before becoming an architectural event,The new development plan of La Defense requires in fact two rearrangements, that of the existing building and its site. The architecture of the building resembles a prism of 176 m high, screened by a vertical structure. Each facade is different. The veil, biomorphic object of the project, is the complex element of this tower, double skin, intelligent facade, its external skeleton of light steel structure, appears as a lace that seems to protect and cover the body. The north facade is fully glass, in order to benefit inside of a maximum light. Cantilevered glass and metal boxes are like theater boxes hang on the structures of the facade. They contain offices or meeting rooms, upright showcases stirring the movement and activity of the tower. The East side, subject of high technology precision is fully glazed and partially protected of the morning sun by a double skin, formed of glass flakes. When evening descends upon the city, the prism is illuminated and the veil sparkles, diffracting reflections from nearby towers."
