Gul Lotus | ideale concepts

“Lotus” is the name given by ideale concepts to their 2nd solar powered LED glowing kinetic installation. The sculptural ensemble is composed of 9 pieces that - spread out onto a blue surface - mimic a poetic group of nympheas. Six midnight green leaves (positioned at various heights & inclinations from the ground) with varying diameters - ranging from 40 to 60 cm - cover a large area of the “pond”. Purity, perfection and beauty: the delicate & powerful flower has been a very influential & important (almost sacred) symbol in cultures across the world from ancient times until today. Mostly created with acrylic panels and rods & LED lights.
