Project info: The Challenge: To create a memorable salon experience reinforcing the client's upscale avant-guarde brand image. The Play: Designers at Natoma Architects Inc. needed to create a division between the hair salon and the interior tanning rooms, while simultaneously stamping the space with the Tan Bella irreverent style. Inspired by the 3form Varia - Sonoma product, the design team was able to deliver a larger-than-life brand experience that also maximized the available space. By adhering the panels directly to the structural surfaces, the walls and doors have no visible hardware and appear to be seamless. The Result: With only an address as an identifier, the hair salon is uniquely recognizable from the street. Surreal surroundings intrigue and entertain patrons as they await their exclusive Tan Bella style.
