The location is the same one originally designed by Isao Hosoe, which has provided the setting for sixty years of this firm's activity. However, the offices have been completely made over to incorporate the new philosophy of office living interpreted by Sacea furnishing systems. Skilfully designed by the in-house Technical Department, the layout has reconfigured the space to cater for various functional requirements: reception, executive and operative office space, functional areas, coffee breaks, meetings and an EDP centre. The space allocated to the reception, operative departments and the coffee break-lounge area has been furnished with Land3, the new office environment system designed by Egidio Panzera. The Nest line, designed by Karim Azzabi, has been chosen for the executive offices. Desks, cabinets and wall panels are all characterized by a strong personality and fine wood finishes; features that confer added value to this system. The managerial offices are divided by the partition wall Store finishing white or black. Particular attention has been given to the lighting of these interiors: transparency and luminosity are the distinctive features of the entire project, in each area and component. While spatial divisions between executive offices, meeting rooms and operative areas have been maintained in the interests of confidentiality and comfort, the solution adopted is a system of completely transparent dividing partitions. The long windows running the entire length of the building provide plenty of natural light as well as a firsthand contact with the surrounding woodlands, a theme that has been further reiterated on the partitions using sanding film, to obtain various degrees of privacy and division.
