EN - The store was defined as a group of “stages” or “scenes” where the product is exhibited and displayed using the linear furniture units that, in turn, hold the articles for access by the customers. All of this is placed within the context of the space without coming into contact with the walls, as if the store were designed to work within an empty space and in complete independence of the container it is found within. The sum of the products, the furniture and the environment of the space create the store. In accordance with this design concept, the first phase of the the work consisted in the elimination of all of the walls and partitions that each prior business had applied to the space, resulting in the accumulation or layering of skins. The benefits were twofold: First to see with surprise, as the space gained area and simultaneously discover, on the limiting walls, a series of remnants of old paint, wallpapers, color tests, notes, sketches, etc ... that appeared in a unique harmony that, when clarified, defined the character and personality of the new store. This same strategy of the “found object” was applied to the existing cast-iron columns. The operation is completed by a neutral-colored continuous flooring and a drop ceiling in the form of a grid that integrates all of the necessary lighting, sound and installations.
