The power station is built next to an existing old barn in a rural area. The concept reflects the traditional wooden cladding of the barn. By using wooden boards as shuttering for the concrete construction, the design blends in with the surroundings. The generator is inside the building and a corner window opposite the door provides good ventilation. To keep it rural, wooden boards are used as shutters. From the distance the impression is that the boards and the concrete make up one piece. Light bulbs inside the building send rays into the darkness and express: “Look here! Energy is produced”
