The project was a film school addition to the Pearl Brewery. So by designing in relation to the river walk extension and the Pearl Brewery the building got their form. The concept behind this project was Light Projecting Out, like a theatre projector. Light was controlled by unique skylights that were specially designed for each of the roofs at the complex. The skylights allow rays of light to enter the building and project onto the walls and floors of all the buildings, educating students and guests.
