«The specific character of the site leads to the establishment of a building in V, which is aligned on both roads that border the plot and gives an opening in the center island on garden. Its shape gives the experimental character corresponding to the needs of a town in full development, facing tomorrow.
The architecture of this building makes as much echo of the BauHaus modernism, that the vocabulary « Hi-tech» of automotive design. It opens the way for future architectural directions for the city including the rest of the Besson area.
The contemporary character and identity is given here by an orange band that surrounds the building to create a homogeneous set. By a clever play of folds, this band will form the floor, wall and roof.
The front is all black with a very smooth reflecting and refracting aspect, which confers an aspect of «fuzziness» to the front, which properties are then difficult to read. This «liquid» aspect will offer a reading of the building in multiple planes.
The choice of these colors is based on complementarily and agreement of aesthetics of black and orange.
