Urban Context The site lies between the Industrial Park of Coimbrões and the Thermal Baths of Alcafache, overlooking the hills of Rio Dão and having in its back Serra da Estrela.Despite being an area where there has been a strong expansion, particularly in terms of single family houses, the area continues to maintain a character of a rural environment, as farming still has a significant expression. Intervention Concept The land of irregular shape does not present a very steep topography.The site chosen for the implementation of the construction took into account the highest point, focusing on visual connections and sun exposure. The program is developed on one floor, the functions of a social nature are oriented to the south and east and the rooms to the south, west and north.Its internal layout is simple and functional stressing the relation between interior / exterior.
