GIRA is a lighting piece designed to explore the ideas of movement and balance. It achieves this harmony through co-dependent pieces. Joined at single point, Gira spins through space, activating light to rediscover shadows. Constructed from aluminum and brass Gira turns industrial materials into delicate interpretations of light, space, shadow and motion. LIGNA is the result of an exploration of balance and tension; it is light objectified. Delicately balanced, one line thrusts the light through space turning the idea into the object. Constructed from contemporary materials, LIGNA is a mix of classic forms with modern interpretations.
