Price WaterhouseWestgate II is the main office of PwC Netherlands with nearly 30,000 m2. The flanks of the H-shaped building with a flexible layout have a height of nearly 50 metres. These flanks are perpendicular to the A4 motorway near Amsterdam.   Each storey has two types of sub areas. Offices can be found in the building’s flanks and an open-plan office landscape can be found in the central area. Both areas have fully-fledged workplaces and offer the option of concentrating on work. The central areas have a lively and dynamic character. The offices around them have a more sober and modest character. They provide facilities for individual workplaces in white and neutral colours and tranquil material compositions. The central areas form the heart of the building, they are the "living rooms" of PwC and play a crucial role within the interior. Retiring, discussing, meeting people, working together and inspiring one another are accents that come back again and again. The colour of the central area is determined for each storey by the central facilities such as kitchenettes and printer niches with the adjacent wall and floor sections. The colour composition of the floor where the circulation areas and working areas can be found has been harmonised with the different themes and combines well with the different colours. The doubly high room, the lighting, the theme, the lively colour composition and the applied finishing materials give each central area its recognisable and inviting aura.
