It is the renovation of one room of the housing. Since the existing room plan was arranged for the family with 4 persons, it is dividing the space of only 50 square meters in some rooms. Therefore, each space was very narrow and not useful for living. This is a space for the client who is a global businessman when he stays in Japan, and is also his relaxation and his business. After this renovation, it will be a space which passes the time of supper with friends or has the meeting by inviting customers. Based on such conditions, the space which is not divided by the fragment and is extensive, and the space where moderate privacy was secured were planned. There are the continuous space with amphidromous and the space of the partition which carries out movable flexibly exist here simultaneously. Each space continues linearly and parallel. The vertical surface is made to amplify the depth and width of space by assigning a material with blunt gloss and flexibility. The opening faces the west side and the living which touches it has great influence of heat load. The comfortable habitation space is realized by moving the living space to an inside deeply. The scenery at the time of sunset is beautiful, diffused reflection of the light of the orange made to bring an inside is carried out to the glossy surface of a wall, and it directs the sequence of a dramatic light. Here, I proposed the space filled to a comfortable stimulus which wraps in softly the feeling with which the client pressed with work in every day.
