The building was built in 1905, consisting of four levels and three houses behind the central train station of Rotterdam.
Two subdivided levels needed to be rearranged into one living unit. The hallway is used as access, to functionalize and simplify the way of life of the owner. The new plan enclose of a new workspace, two bedrooms, bathroom and a closed veranda to fulfill the client’s needs.
Almost all existing elements are used and the new elements are utilized gently to maintain the authentic characteristic of the house.
