Apartment in Rome | Eleonora Renzi

This apartment in central Rome has been entirely refurbished and developed with a completely new space planning. The old layout, having many little rooms, has been replanned in order to achieve a large open space that includes living area, dining and kitchen. Full height etched glass sliding panels separate the living area from the kitchen without affecting the open space perspective continuum. The main colour is white but we played with different textures and light effects, leaving to the client the freedom of playing with accent colours of furniture and accessories. The bathroom has been enlarged to accommodate a spacious built in shower with steam room. The accent pebbly mosaic by the basin features as main finish in the steam room, creating a rustic but also sleek environment. The project has been completed in 2012.
