Landscape Design’s Project. URBAN PROJECT. RESIDENTIAL AREA | Noncommercial Partnership FLORITEL

• The project presented the thematic concept of designing the environment of a housing estate (area of 15 hectare). Accent is into the Finnish character of nature; fanctionality; comfortable and utility of all parts of area for people any ages and life interests. AWARD: III prize in the nomination “Project” in Russian professional competition “Landscape architecture. Look from home” (2009, Moscow, Dom na Brestskoy). AREA’S STRUCTURE: 1. CENTRAL ALLEY - with shops, cafés, cascading fountain, places for the rest, amphitheatre for performances, them café «Mill». 2. RESIDENTIAL AREAS – buildings, landscape design’s areas and functional zones for every age of people and interests. 3. SOCIAL OBJECTS – 2 kindergartens («The Heart of the Sun», «The Shining of the Moon»), School, Stadium and areas surrounding them. 4. RECREATION AREA – base on the river’s banks with paving system and thematic areas for the family’s calm and active rest. Residential areas include: • Areas for children (theme mini-parks, developmental playground, entertaining zones, areas for physical growth); • Zones for activity and creative development of teenagers (active sport’s zones, theatre’s stage for open air activities and theme meetings); • Space for youth, adults (theme public gardens, parks of social objects, place for the family’s rests, hobby realization, sport’s areas, terrace coffee-garden).
