Balance of Urban Nodes | Fatih Görgen

This project worked on a senior design studio. This is not an applicated project. The problem on this site was disconnection between north and south part of the city which could be arrived to each other in ten minutes on foot. Within this project flow of the activites and people were provided between two parts of the Sinop city. Existing acitivity nodes were improved and converted to amusing points on the city to circulate and spend time on. The project is evaluated on the keyword of history, culture and tourism. Within this framework; park, squares and art routes were located; besides, music workshops, artworkshops, exhibition halls, museums and public center were attached on these open spaces to reach the optimum amusing flow between north and south
