One off exclusive contemporary attractive design post & beam log home, which was designed by Alberico & Giachetti Associati (exterior style and interior design). Structural engineering by Atelier North West (USA). Structure made of Douglas fir glulam post and beams. Exterior walls made with pre-cut Western Red Cedar 4"x8" tongue and groove logs, which was naturally treated on the exterior and naturally bleached on the interior. All roof insulation was by use of cork and all windows are Saint Gobain high insulated laminated glasses. All timber materials by Evergreen Lumber (USA). The concept allows a very efficient energy saving, confortable home. The floors are made with oil treated large size American Oak wood planks. All interior furnishing is custom made, with the use of environment friendly and low impact materials to maximize wellness and comfort and achieve the the principle of a healthy life style, the modern concept of luxe.
