House in Riba de Âncora This project was mainly influenced by the particularities of the land, characterized by a high and irregular rocky slope, heavily wooded, with an excellent sun exposure and a magnificent view over the Âncora valley. With the main idea of carrying out the smallest possible impact on the natural landscape, the objective was to design a well adapted building to take off it full advantage. As a result, a ground floor house was developed, provided with a group of uneven flat roofs, in line with the topography, accessible, beautifully overlooking the surrounding countryside and in close connection with it, mainly expressed in the configuration of the open “U” plan and in the generous distribution and windows size.
