The idea of the club appeared in January 2011. The club opened in December 2011. The goal of this project was to create a nightclub in a modern design, trying to avoid boring and old-fashioned neo-baroque gold monograms, capitonne walls and other so-called glamorous attributes. The main difficulty of the project was the venue, which was located in the basement of the building built in 1950s and had supporting load-bearing walls as thick as 80cm. The ventilation system also turned out to be very complex, with multiple airways and girders across the entire ceiling. Instead of hiding these elements, the alternative idea of attractive undulating ceiling was adopted, while painted in dark grey girders and airways have optically disappeared. This has become a starting point of the futuristic design of the club. Psychedelic colors, so popular earlier for this trend, have been superseded by a monochrome palette with clear pink accents. Most of the furniture was specially designed, the club has no sharp corners and I consider that extremely important, since the interior of the venue should be favorable for rest and comfort. It was nice to hear first visitors’ feedback. Despite the futuristic design of the club, our guests considered it very comfortable and pleasant.
