The MOdern House project addresses for a contemporary loft style way of life. The design is strongly influenced by "The Paulista School" of modernist architecture, that was formed in São Paulo, Brazil , during the 1950s. The principles from the Modern Movement and from the International style were revived, but adapted to a contemporary living and its terms, to the current needs for more flexible spaces, the use of new structures and materials available nowadays. This project was developed for a smart couple or a wealthy independent resident, and was created to explore the quality of contemporary home design. This intention is achieved by the design of some unique and special elements: -The singular shape of the house and its construction elements; -Totally Free floor plan alowing a remarkable spacial fluidity; -The assimetrical shape of the plan, making it an interesting geometric composition and permiting a different spatial division; -Support of ground-level pilotis, elevating the building from the earth, and therefore allowing an eco-occupation of the land; The space below the house can be used for carport and gardens; -Floor to ceiling windows clears the way to unobstructed views, providing illumination and cross ventilation; - The house incorporates the outside nature indoors
