Movement is the driving force behind the idea of the design, in the efort to bridge the gap between neighboring but separated existing urban communities. With the future LRT station and bike lanes bringing more people to the area, as well as the cities own initiative to intensify, our proposal is an urban village sensitive to pedestrian circulation, and direct human experience. In the conception of the project, we focused on some key elements, which should and will be applied to all future developments: natural light, comfort, curiosity, places for community and places to be happy. (this project was designed in a team: Camille Baello, Brendan Bakker, Nicole Moyo, Brad Murphy and Carlos Portillo)
