Inspired by the rigorous plaster work of the mosques and Muslim palaces, we recreated a geometrical pattern which fills the ceiling and the walls of the hotel unit. It's a decorative element, essential to the room’s environment and a crucial symbolic element of the Muslim culture.
The decorative element of the walls and ceiling extends until it reaches the bed leather panels, which give comfort and elegance to the space.
The idea of cultural overture, between tradition and modernity, expands to the bathroom. Delimited by a glass surface, this solution allows a constant and permanent daylight on the bath area. The issues of intimacy and privacy are controlled by a curtain that covers the entire volume of the bathroom.
The selected colour palette revolves around shades of beige, sometimes lighter, sometimes more intense, punctuated occasionally by golden elements (faucets and lamps). The floor carpet gives the accommodation unit a relaxed and elegant ambient.
Inspirado pelo trabalho minucioso de gesso das mesquitas e palácios muçulmanos, recriamos um padrão geométrico que se desenvolve ao longo do tecto e paredes da unidade de alojamento. Trata-se de um elemento decorativo, fulcral na criação do ambiente, e que principal elemento simbólico da cultura islâmica.
O elemento decorativo das paredes e tecto desenvolve-se até ao encontro de apainelados de pele que conferem ao espaço maior conforto e elegância.
A ideia de abertura entre culturas, entre tradição e modernidade, alarga-se ao espaço de banho. Delimitado por uma superfície em vidro, permite uma iluminação natural uniforme. Questões de intimidade e privacidade ficam resolvidas por uma cortina que recobre a totalidade do volume do banho.
A paleta de cores seleccionada gira em torno de tons de bege, ora mais leves, ora mais intensos, pontuada ocasionalmente por elementos dourados (torneiras e candeeiros). O pavimento em alcatifa confere à unidade de alojamento um ambiente descontraído e elegante.
