Concepts - There are many ways to make a small house look bigger with colours, openable sections, light, glass or fancy tricks. This house enjoys open views to Sori centre and its busiest  roads while discovering the sea side through a terrace that is small in dimensions but great in usability.

Site - A small penthouse, topping a portion of the colourful historical Sori facade, whose peculiarity is to be on the sixth floor seaside, and on a raised floor hillside. Access is granted by an easy flight of stairs from a small commercial road while the double exposure helps separating living and sleeping areas.

Materials - Perfectly oriented to the South, the lot called for the exploitation of passive solar technologies and green architecture principles. Non treated materials are employed thorough the whole building for structures, fittings and finishes while energy needs are satisfied with natural ventilation and cooling, massive insulation, floor heating, solar panels for hot water and natural lighting, highly performing glazings and technical fittings. Stone, wood and lime based paint are the materials used for walls and floors finishes.

Project Management - All Design and Construction phases, all Supply management, materials and workmanship. Project Architect and Site Architect, Handover.
