FRAME CHAIR is an homage to the classical bentwood coffee-shop chair. It quotes the formal vocabulary of the two wooden clamps that meet in the backrest, run briefly in parallel and then separate again to form the back and arm rests. Unlike the ur-model, the parts of the FRAME CHAIR are square in cross-section. In this way it sets itself off from its ancestor and makes a formal leap into the world of today.
